About us

WHO WE ARE

Circle of Care Jamaica was established to offer holistic care and support services to individuals impacted by physical, emotional, or sexual abuse

Our founder, Alicia Bowen-McCulskie, a survivor of abuse, envisioned safe spaces and opportunities for women and girls to access psychosocial support, resources and the care needed to aid their healing process.  Too often, victims are crippled by shame, fear and the psychological trauma experienced from abuse, hindering them from accessing the necessary support required to provide healing and restoration. We are committed to provide services that not only protect victims of abuse but also ensure they are empowered and equipped with the necessary tools to realize their full potential.

Circle of Care aims to create a supportive environment, built on our core values of C.A.R.E., to address these hindrances while advocating for preventive measures to protect women and girls from abuse.  Our CARE core values are:

C – Confidential, safe spaces

A – Access to information, support services, and resources.

R –  Restoration and Rehabilitation

E – Empowerment

This supportive environment will motivate victims to chart their recovery journey while maximizing their full potential and contribution to society.

OUR MISSION

We commit to fostering a world where women and girls are protected, empowered, and equipped to realize their full potential, contributing to a more equitable, prosperous, and sustainable future for all. .

OUR VISION

Women and girls are protected and empowered to achieve their full potential.
